Conference Learning Objectives:

During the AAOP 2019 Scientific Meeting Attendees will:

  1. Learn and understand about the new classification of orofacial pain
  2. Learn about and understand the relationship between TMD and headaches
  3. Understand the diagnosis and management of trigeminal neuropathies.
  4. Learn about novel approaches in the management of primary headache disorders
  5. Learn about cellular approaches in the management of TMJ osteoarthritis
  6. Explore the role of the dentist in sleep medicine and new insights in sleep apnea pathogenesis
  7. Learn about the current levels of recognition of Orofacial Pain as a new Dental Specialty
  8. Develop an understanding of access to care issues in orofacial pain practices

Total credit educational hours being offered at this conference are 27 (including core conference, preconference workshops, breakfast forums & lunch sessions). The core conference offers 16.5 CE hours. Each preconference offers an additional 6 CE hours, each breakfast forum provides 1 CE hour and each Lunch and Learn provides 1.25 CE hours. Each attendee should claim only those hours of credit that he/she actually spent in the education. Workshops, breakfast & lunch sessions all require additional registration.
